The ‘INHERITANCE’ Lounge is a branding and interior design project developed to reposition Eldis Regent Hotel as a premium urban destination. While preserving the hotel’s strengths in accessibility and practicality, the project reinterprets its accumulated history and sense of place, transforming the lounge into a core space that defines the hotel’s renewed identity. The lounge is designed as a sequential spatial journey, where the atmosphere gradually deepens from the open lobby toward more intimate inner zones. Curved forms and fluid circulation guide movement naturally, while a variety of seating typologies support both casual stays and focused moments. The innermost area, inspired by the concept of a “cave,” offers a sense of retreat and immersion, allowing guests to step away from the city and into a carefully orchestrated spatial narrative.
Light, Nature, and Fragrance as Design Language
Light, nature, and fragrance serve as the primary design languages of the space. Layered lighting creates subtle contrasts and shifting moods throughout the day, while real planting and nature-inspired materials bring warmth and vitality indoors. A signature scent, developed specifically for the lounge, completes the experience—quietly embedding the brand into memory through an invisible yet powerful sensory layer.
From Interior Design to Integrated Branding
More than a lounge renovation, ‘INHERITANCE’ is a fully integrated branding project encompassing spatial planning, interior design, graphic identity, and scent branding. From concept to execution, every element was developed as part of a unified system, redefining the hotel not simply as a place to stay, but as a destination to be remembered.
