YANGPUN-I

Yangpun-i is a tavern inspired by the familiar and comforting local eateries remembered by those born in the 1990s, now in their thirties. It recalls the scene of fathers mixing makgeolli in large metal bowls, preserving the warmth and sentiment of that era.
The name “Yangpun-i” was chosen as it is, allowing the menu—such as misutgaru and dakbokkeumtang—to instantly evoke memories of the past. Retro brand colors accent the space, while carefully curated props and details immerse visitors in a nostalgic atmosphere, inviting them to reconnect with personal and collective memories through the space itself.
