Located at the entrance of Dongseong-no, this project establishes a symbolic base for a stay-oriented tourism district. Designed as both the starting point of the stamp tour program and an information hub offering promotional and cultural content, the center functions as a gateway connecting visitors to the identity and experiences of the area.
The architectural concept focused on creating a lightweight structure that does not disrupt the existing streetscape, while maintaining a distinct presence both day and night. Subtle sculptural qualities and carefully selected colors reflect local identity, ensuring visibility without overwhelming the surrounding urban fabric.
The result is a compact yet iconic tourism landmark that strengthens Dongseong-no’s role as a representative cultural and visitor destination in Daegu.
